Quality! Quality! Quality!
The care and service of your Powerhearth begins on the drawing board. Our customers have specific power and electrical requirements. We design and build each Powerhearth to meet each of these exact specifications and, as a result, each system is different and the differences are the first items noted and addressed during the planning and design phase of the power plant, at your site, by our engineers.
We have been doing this for awhile and we know that we build a trouble free Powerhearth! Our goal will always be to build each Powerhearth to fit the customers' needs perfectly!
As each component is fabricated, it is rigorously tested and, before the Powerhearth leaves the factory, it is subjected to more tests, thus ensuring that the Powerhearth will do that which you have specified. The tests are performed and certified by an independent testing organization. Before your Powerhearth is shipped, you are presented with the tests and the test results. Your satisfaction and approval are required before the Powerhearth leaves the floor!
When your Powerhearth arrives at its destination, it is assembled by a team of Powerhearth experts. Again, each component is thoroughly tested and as it is integrated with other ancillaries, further integrated system tests are performed.
Service! Service! Service!
After assembly, the entire power plant is tested for constituency integration and the management and monitoring systems are introduced and tested. This is when all of the components begin talking to each other.
When the management system and the monitoring system are satisfied, the plant will perform a series of start ups, entering yet another phase of testing. Once the run ups and outputs are satisfactory, the final tests are performed.
The first test is a general system integrity test, performed to ensure the system integrity and balance. This is a non stop twenty four hour test.
The second test is performed to verify any adjustments required by the first test results, but also verifies gas quality and quantity, feedstock consumption rates, ancillaries performance and controls. This is a non stop twenty four hour test.
The final test is the “performance test”. It is conducted under the same conditions for which the customer specified. Additionally, the test is performed under a full load. That is, engines, boilers, turbines… whatever! Everything is brought on line and fully integrated. This final test is a non stop one hundred hour test, also conducted by an independent testing laboratory.
Upon completion of the final tests, the system is confidently turned over to you and your operators, whom we have been training since before your system arrived at your site.
For the next year, we are connected to your system through our Powerhearth Automation and Management System. We will remotely monitor your entire system during every minute of its operation, continually in communication with your operators, in a support position.
Upon the completion of the system commissioning, your operators will receive numerous manuals and CDs, including a comprehensive preventive maintenance manual. "…as the various preventive maintenance operations are performed, the management system will record the action as well as informing you and our monitoring center. If the anticipated chore is late or ignored, a three staged alarm sounds and reminds the operator that a critical operation is required in a timely manner..." The Powerhearth Automation and Management System has redundancies at each level. It is primarily concerned with proper system operation and "backstopping" the operator.
While commissioning your system, we have also been putting together a local "rapid response" team of mechanics and technicians. If you need them, they are ready! As needed, both you and your local support team will have access to any spares that are required and both of you will have all of the necessary manuals, along with immediate access to a factory representative.
None of us expect a situation that requires local support, but it sure is comforting to know they are out there, waiting for your call.
Having said all of this, it is time to deal with a simple question and an even simpler truth.
Exactly what is there that will break on the Powerhearth?
Nothing! Powerhearth has no moving parts! It just sits there, making gas.
So far, everything that you have read can be summarized in the performance guarantee. Among many things, It tells you that during the first year, you risk nothing. Maybe you feel that you would like a bit more security. How about a five year performance guarantee? Ten years? We even have a twenty year plan available.
Fully Supported Lifetime Warranty
Exactly what is a "Fully Supported" Lifetime Warranty and what makes it so different from all of the other warranties offered by other gasifiers?
You may operate your Powerhearth at 100%, twenty four hours a day and confidently expect to do so for thirty or forty years! Accordingly, we feel quite confident in providing you with our Lifetime Warranty.
The Powerhearth is a dependable "work horse", but we are always updating it, staying out ahead of our competition and the technological curve. As we update our system, we update yours, too!
